By now you’ve probably already heard that SQL Server 2012 has been released (you can download the eval here), along with the Feature Pack (which contains some interesting stuff, including a 64-bit version of the Excel Data Mining Addin at last) and PowerPivot V2.0. I know I’m almost 24 hours late on this news but I thought I’d mention it nonetheless…

Hi chris, i search information about the ole db driver for IBM DB2 included in the sql 2K12 feature pack (V4.0)
The version 3 included in the SLQ 2K8 feature pack was only available for sql enterprise edition. I see no information about this for version 4 (all links t the documentions seems to be false and point to a jdbc documentation)
So what is it for the V4 of this driver?still enterprise?Ok for bi edition?

Sorry for the late reply, but I’ve only just heard from MS. The DB2 Provider is definitely supported for Enterprise Edition, and discussions are ongoing about whether it should be available in BI Edition (they hadn’t thought about it before your question!). I’ll let you know if I hear about the decision they make about BI Edition.
